Because this bug was isolated to just 2 functions and no global variables or any other functions have been altered for 2.106, this version should be just as reliable as 2.105
Compile scale is an old feature I have never used much (because I avoid scaling Part nodes using the scale field most of the time) but for beginners who will intuitively scale parts, it is essential to use this function before a file is output or the wrl may look deformed when animated.
If you select the Seamless
node and then select F10/compile transform/scale:
all parts belonging to the slected Seamless node are unscaled but their sizes remain the same as when they were scaled.
