Compile Scale bug fixed for 2.106 thanks to Lilly

Postby thyme » 04 Aug 2006, 19:00

A bug Lilly found concerning the F10/compile/scale command has been fixed for 2.106 which is now ready for download

http://www.seamless3d.com/download

Because this bug was isolated to just 2 functions and no global variables or any other functions have been altered for 2.106, this version should be just as reliable as 2.105

Compile scale is an old feature I have never used much (because I avoid scaling Part nodes using the scale field most of the time) but for beginners who will intuitively scale parts, it is essential to use this function before a file is output or the wrl may look deformed when animated.

If you select the Seamless Image node and then select F10/compile transform/scale:

Image

all parts belonging to the slected Seamless node are unscaled but their sizes remain the same as when they were scaled.

Many thanks to Lilly for finding this bug
