Upon checking through the gallery (again), I have noticed that caricatures exist there. I now wonder, what are the requirements for becoming one? Just asking...

I was referring to the "3D portraits" kind of it, mostly found in gallery page 4.

The Essentials of Modelling a Head in 30 Seconds should be all the technical help you essentially need to make a caricature however creating caricatures does require a lot of artistic skill which comes from spending time practising each day same as if you were using a pencil to create your caricature. If you enjoy listening to music this can help pass the time while practising without it feeling like a chore. There are a number of different techniques that can help which I want to make some videos on soon but nothing will make you an instant artist without spending a lot of time practising. I would recommend a beginner not be too hung up on creating caricatures. Creating appealing looking faces that don't have to look like anyone in particular is generally much easier and more important.
